Trump vo:ws to su:e Trevor Noah for sav:age Epstein joke while hosting the Grammys

Donald Trump has issued a sharp wa:rning toward comedian Trevor Noah following jokes Noah made about him during the Grammy Awards last night.

Trevor Noah hosted the Grammys on February 1 and delivered several pointed remarks aimed at the former president throughout the ceremony. One joke in particular appeared to provoke a strong reaction from Trump.

Just before the announcement of Song of the Year, Noah referenced Trump’s repeated comments about Greenland, as well as Trump’s past association with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Noah joked that winning Song of the Year was something artists desired nearly as much as Trump wanted Greenland, adding that with Epstein’s island gone, Trump needed a new place to spend time with Bill Clinton.

Clinton has consistently denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes, despite having known him prior to his d3ath.

Ghislaine Maxwell has also stated that Clinton was her friend rather than Epstein’s and denied that Clinton had any role in Epstein’s illegal activities. Trump, for his part, has repeatedly denied knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and has said he distanced himself from Epstein long before the scandal became public.

Despite these denials, Noah’s remarks appeared to anger Trump significantly. In response, Trump suggested he would pursue legal action against the comedian.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump posted an aggressive statement criticizing both the Grammys and Noah personally, using familiar insults aimed at figures in the entertainment industry.

He claimed the awards show was “virtually unwatchable” and compared Noah unfavorably to other late-night hosts.

Trump strongly rejected Noah’s joke, insisting that he had never visited Epstein’s island and stating that he had never previously been accused of doing so. He described Noah’s comments as false and defamatory, warned the comedian to “get his facts straight,” and said he was considering sending lawyers after him.

Trump ended his post by referencing past legal disputes involving media figures and networks, telling Noah to “get ready” and saying he intended to “have some fun” with the situation.
