Grease and limescale can be two real enemies for anyone who has trouble cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
The first is formed due to food residues, condiments, and dirt. It mainly nests in kitchen furniture, but especially in the oven. Limescale, which can cover sanitary ware and taps, on the other hand, is mainly due to the hardness of water that settles upon drying.
We often turn to expensive chemical products, hoping that they will magically eliminate grease and limescale. But sometimes, even with all the effort we put in, they just don’t seem to budge. Instead of wasting money on these products, why not try a homemade paste using ingredients readily available in your kitchen?
Make Your Own Cleaning Paste
This incredible paste not only tackles limescale, but it also works wonders on oven grease, kitchen tiles, pots, and pans. To make this paste, you will need:
– 6 tablespoons of any concentrated dish soap
– 3 tablespoons of powdered bathroom cleaner
– 3 tablespoons of baking soda
– 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
You can use a disposable or recycled container, like a plastic ricotta container, to hold the paste. Simply wash the container and follow these steps:
– Step 1: Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda to the container.
– Step 2: Add 3 tablespoons of powdered bathroom cleaner.
– Step 3: Add 6 tablespoons of concentrated dish soap.
– Step 4: Mix the mixture thoroughly with a wooden spoon until it becomes smooth.
– Step 5: Add 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar to the paste.
Now that your homemade cleaning paste is ready, you can keep it on hand whenever you need it. Put on some gloves and grab a sponge to start using the paste on the targeted surfaces.
