Dean, the beloved town postman, was driving his USPS van on his absolute final route after 50 years of dedicated service. The locals were determined to send him off in style.
At his first stop, the librarian smiled warmly and handed him a beautiful, leather-bound volume of classic literature to enjoy during his newfound free time. At the next stop, the owner of the liquor store presented him with a premium bottle of 12-year-old single malt whiskey.
Deeply touched by the community’s kindness, Dean arrived at his very last address: the home of Mrs. Smith, a gorgeous young newlywed who had just moved into the neighborhood.
When Dean knocked, the front door swung open to reveal Mrs. Smith wearing scandalous lingerie that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Without a word, she locked eyes with him, pulled him upstairs to the bedroom, and treated him to the wildest, most passionate hour of his entire life.
Afterward, as a dizzy Dean was putting his uniform back on, she slipped a crisp one-dollar bill into his shirt pocket. “We’re not quite done yet,” she smiled, leading him down to the kitchen. There, she cooked him a spectacular, five-star lunch of steak, eggs, and toast.
Finishing his meal, Dean looked at her in absolute wonder. “Mrs. Smith, everyone in town has been incredibly nice today, but you have gone completely above and beyond. What on earth inspired this kind of royal treatment?”
Mrs. Smith smiled sweetly, leaned against the counter, and replied:
“Well, last night I told my husband that today was your retirement, and since we’re new here, I asked him what we should do for you. He just rolled his eyes and muttered, ‘Screw him, give him a buck!'”
She beamed with pride and added, “But the lunch was completely my idea!”
