A woman was taking her very first helicopter flying lesson.
Before takeoff, the instructor smiled and said,
“I’ll check in with you every 1,000 feet.”
“Just stay calm, follow the controls, and you’ll do great.”
Everything started perfectly.
At 1,000 feet, the instructor radioed,
“How’s it going?”
She replied,
“Fantastic! This is easier than I expected!”
At 2,000 feet, he called again.
“Still doing okay?”
“Doing great!” she answered cheerfully.
Then…
Just before reaching 3,000 feet…
The helicopter suddenly began spinning wildly.
The rotor stopped.
The aircraft dropped rapidly…
And crash-landed in a nearby field.
The instructor raced over, expecting the worst.
Fortunately, she climbed out with only a few bumps and bruises.
Completely puzzled, he asked,
“What happened up there?”
She shrugged and replied,
“Well…”
“Around 2,500 feet it started getting really chilly.”
The instructor stared at her.
“So?”
She smiled proudly.
“So I turned off the big fan.” 😂🚁🤣
