Living Nostradamus has war:ning for Donald Trump in 2026

Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé has issued a stark prediction for U.S. President Donald Trump in 2026.

The 38-year-old prophet and social media figure has previously wa:rned the British Royal Family of a significant event expected later this year, possibly linked to the health of a senior royal. He has also shared predictions about the future of weight-loss drugs, advances in artificial intelligence, and what Gen Z may face in the coming year.

Now, Salomé has turned his attention to the American president and his outlook is far from optimistic.

In political terms, Salomé believes Trump could face a decline in public support, compounded by a more motivated Democratic voter base.

According to Salomé, there is a strong chance Republicans could lose control of at least one chamber of Congress in the November 2026 midterm elections. He attributed this risk to several factors: declining presidential approval ratings, an energized Democratic base, the historical tendency for governing parties to be punished in midterms, and already narrow legislative margins.

“This combination keeps the administration under pressure and raises wa:rning signals across the Trump presidency,” Salomé said.

However, he also predicts that a weakened Congress could lead to a renewed reliance on executive authority. Salomé suggested that the administration may increasingly depend on executive orders, administrative regulations, and cooperation with allied state governors to push its agenda forward.

He described 2026 as a year of “governance by pen,” in which the president compensates for reduced legislative support through unilateral action. This approach, he said, will become a defining feature of the political conversation heading into the elections.

Salomé believes Trump’s political strategy in 2026 will focus on three main areas: border security, trade disputes, and direct confrontation with what Trump refers to as “judicial activism” and the “federal bureaucracy.” He noted that these themes are familiar but will be intensified by ongoing legislative uncertainty.

The mystic also predicts continued quiet tension within the Republican Party. While Trump’s leadership will remain outwardly dominant, Salomé claims unease is growing behind the scenes as polling data points to significant midterm risks.

“This is pressure driven by strategy, not division,” Salomé explained. “The party still needs Trump to energize its base, but fears the electoral consequences that may come with it.”

Salomé also shared a prediction regarding First Lady Melania Trump, suggesting she will maintain a low profile in 2026, limiting her presence at travel engagements and fundraising events.

He emphasized that this should not be interpreted as a marital issue or institutional withdrawal. Instead, Salomé described her approach as one of “calculated stability,” noting that changes to the East Wing do not diminish her importance but rather redefine her role. In his view, Melania will act more as a curator of key presidential moments than as the head of a political operation.

In conclusion, Salomé argued that Trump’s greatest challenge in 2026 will not stem from legal matters or personal issues.

“The real tension is political,” he said. “The true risk lies in a less cooperative Congress after the midterms. If current trends continue, the president will enter the latter half of his term navigating increasingly uncertain territory—facing legislative resistance and relying more heavily on executive power.”
