Joe Biden says world leaders still calling him for advice

Although former President Joe Biden has stepped down amid mounting scrutiny and skepticism about his leadership, he claims he is still consulted by political and global figures, including European heads of state.

Speaking at a recent event in San Diego, Biden shared that several European leaders continue to call him for advice.

He emphasized, however, that he only offers suggestions and does not participate directly in ongoing political affairs.

Biden also mentioned that lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties frequently reach out to him, not because they believe he has all the answers, but to exchange ideas and seek perspective.

During his appearance, Biden made a few puzzling comments, such as reminiscing about “laying rubber with my ’67 Corvette on my driveway,” which reportedly left some in the audience confused.

Critics were quick to pounce, pointing to various issues that plagued his time in office—rising inflation, high fuel costs, unresolved immigration issues at the southern border, and multiple controversies, including those tied to his son, Hunter Biden.

They also noted the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and controversial decisions like early pardons for figures such as Hunter Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci, along with recent revelations from an ICE report highlighting gaps in immigration screening.

Skeptics argue that Biden’s continued advisory role is questionable, given the credibility concerns and crises that shadowed his presidency.

Some political commentators believe his recent comments reflect a blurred perception of his influence, suggesting a disconnect between the image he portrays and the real challenges that defined his later years in office.
