A blonde woman rushed into a doctor’s office looking absolutely miserable.
Both of her ears were bright red and heavily bandaged.
The doctor looked up in surprise.
“Good heavens,” he said. “What happened to you?”
The blonde carefully lowered herself into the chair and sighed dramatically.
“Well, Doctor… it was the strangest accident.”
The doctor nodded.
“I was ironing clothes for work yesterday evening,” she explained, “and while I was pressing my suit, the phone suddenly rang.”
The doctor listened patiently.
“And somehow,” she continued, “I accidentally picked up the iron instead of the phone.”
The doctor winced.
“Oh dear. Well… that certainly explains one burned ear.”
“But what about the other ear?”
The blonde rolled her eyes angrily and snapped,
“The b*stard called again”
