Growing up in a small village, young Arthur was considered the absolute dullest student in his class. His teacher completely detested him, constantly screaming, “You are driving me to an early grave, Arthur!” Eventually, after being told her son was an unmitigated disaster with zero future, Arthur’s horrified mother pulled him out of school and moved to another city.
Twenty-five years later, that very same teacher was diagnosed with a severe, life-threatening heart condition. Local doctors told her there was only one elite, world-renowned cardiac surgeon capable of performing the impossible operation. Desperate to survive, she agreed to the surgery.
The procedure was a flawless success. When the teacher finally opened her eyes in the recovery room, she saw a handsome, brilliant doctor smiling down at her. She tried to utter a word of gratitude, but suddenly, her face turned blue. She frantically gestured toward the wall, gasped for air, and tragically passed away right there in the bed.
The elite surgeon was completely baffled, frantically trying to figure out what medical anomaly could have caused such a sudden death…
…until he turned around and spotted Arthur, now working as the clinic’s daytime janitor, happily unplugging the life-support machine so he could power up his heavy-duty vacuum cleaner.
