A grandmother and her grandson created a song and dance to commemorate the day the grandmother was strong enough to walk without a walker, and they’re now going viral!
The TikTok account broooook3 first shared the celebration in a video last week, which immediately received over a million views and thousands of shares.
The video features the grandson improving a popular tune that goes, “Grandma’s got to walk, aye!” Grandma no longer needs a walker. “The walker’s probably going to be locked up in the closet” while playing the keyboard and wearing antique sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Grandma is showing off her best dance skills as she grooves to the music and revels in the freedom of discarding the walker.
The grandma’s moves are quite impressive, and it’s obvious she did a lot of dancing in her life. The grandson’s song is actually an earworm—you may catch yourself singing it all day. But the best part of the video is the almost tangible joy coming from the duo.
