We have all been through the frustration of being plagued by flies, mosquitoes, and occasionally cockroaches in our homes.
Those annoying buzzing sounds, unexpected stings, and the worry about the illnesses these little intruders can bring.
But what if I told you that there was a natural, safe and effective way to scare away these annoying visitors?
The answer is in nature and common ingredients that you can have in your kitchen.
Ingredients
5 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon yeast
1 cup of water
15 bay leaves
10 nails
1 2 liter plastic bottle
1/2 cup regular shampoo
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup white vinegar
Procedure
1. Mosquito Trap:
Dissolve 5 tablespoons of sugar in a cup of hot water.
Add the yeast and mix well.
Take a 2 liter plastic bottle and cut off the top.
Pour the mixture into the bottle and cover with the cut top upside down.
Place the trap in areas where you have noticed mosquito activity.
2. Cockroach and Fly Repellent:
In a pot, boil 15 bay leaves and 10 cloves in a cup of water.
Boil for 10 minutes and let cool.
Transfer the essence to a spray container.
Spray in areas where you have seen cockroaches or flies, such as pantries or bathrooms.
3. Repellent Spray:
Combine half a cup of shampoo, half a cup of vegetable oil, and half a cup of white vinegar in a container.
Mix well and transfer the solution to a spray bottle.
Spray in areas where insects are a problem.
These homemade methods are not only effective, but they are a safer, more natural alternative to commercial chemical repellents.
It is important to mention that, although these homemade repellents are effective, they do not replace essential preventative measures such as keeping areas clean and avoiding stagnant water.
