What is beetroot juice good for?
As well as it’s amazing colour, beetroot benefits from having a high water content; more water means more juice! They’re also a powerful anti-inflammatory and contain a unique source of Betaine which is a nutrient that helps to protect cells, proteins, and enzymes from environmental stress. It’s also shown to help the recovery of muscles and joints, enhance stamina due to its wealth of nitrates, as well as support the blood and liver in the detoxifying process.
Carrots contain powerful antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamin C which help reduce inflammation in the body. They also contain skin-loving nutrients like silicon which promotes glowing skin and nails.
Ginger is one of my favourite ingredients to add to beetroot juice, or any juice really. It gives it a fiery kick as well as providing a good dose of anti-inflammatory nutrients
